This year was good for the first time the papers were given to students, even the answer key and solutions were put on the web site of IISc. IISc has declared the result of the students who have cleared the written test. However there is still lot more to be done.
Marks of the students and cut off are not declared in the result. There were many mistakes in the official answer key declared by IISc and the same have been reported to IISc, however IISc has not come out with any explanation for the same.
IISc should also come about more details of the interview. Weight age of the written test and interview should be told in advance ( IISc has never done this in the last 10 years). The only way to restore the credibility of this exam by addressing the issues mentioned above. I will urge students to use RTI in order to find out the above mentioned details.
